Disasters in Paradise

Let’s be honest: the spring semester can feel like a drag. You’re probably juggling a million things—between academics, extracurriculars, and personal commitments—and the weather can’t decide if it’s spring or winter. On top of that, the clock is ticking to lock down that summer internship.

Why not give yourself something to look forward to? From May 17th to June 8th, you could be in the Caribbean! The Bucknell abroad program in the Caribbean lets you pre-plan a well-deserved escape to tropical paradise—and the best part? You can earn credit while you’re there!

If you’re passionate about the literature and vibrant cultural history, this program is for you. Whether you immersing in the historical spaces, considering colonial impacts, or enjoying the food, music, and dances, the Griot’s abroad program has something special to offer.

Don’t worry, engineers, you’re included too! You’ll have a unique opportnity to examine how Hurricanes Maria and Irma impacted the region’s infrastructure, exploring disaster management and engineering solutions to real-world problems.

Trust me, the vibes will be immaculate!
