The 2023 Diversity Symposium, “Belonging at Bucknell: Who We Are and Who We Would Like to Be,” was held on Friday, March 31. Griot Institute interns Jerra Holdip and Ninah Jackson provided a presentation titled “Griot: Telling the Story of Black Bucknell.” As part of the Griot Storytelling Project, they spent the academic year conducting interviews and documenting the Black student experience at Bucknell. In the presentation, they shared these stories and engaged in meaningful conversation about the role we all play in cultivating the Black student experience.
