Hello all, welcome to the new intern blog, run by the interns at the Griot Institute at Bucknell University! In order to allow our interns a more creative freedom, and not constrain any of their stories to a particular word count, the Institute decided to shift from a newsletter to an intern blog. Although the Griot’s contact list will still receive a condensed newsletter of announcements, we wanted to give readers an opportunity to be constantly updated on student projects and events on campus, rather than only once or twice a semester. The blog link will be posted in our newsletters and bookmarked on the Griot’s website so all readers have easy access to everything happening related to Black lives and cultures at Bucknell.
